Farewell to Fr Lee & Fr Maduike
All parishioners are invited to a finger-food luncheon on Sunday January 22 following the 10.30am Mass to farewell Fr Brendan Lee and Fr Joseph Maduike. There is no cost for the luncheon; if you would like to give a small donation to help cover the cost it would be greatly appreciated.

Lenten Groups
Ash Wednesday is on 22nd February this year. In preparation for Easter, we are hoping to have volunteers to host Lenten Discussion Groups in their homes or a suitable meeting place. If you are able to host a group, please put your name, address, and phone number and time of meeting on the sheet provided in the church porch. If you are interested in joining a Lenten Home Discussion Group, please put your name and telephone number on the list provided. Fr Joel will be using the Canberra/Goulburn booklets this year.

St Patrick’s Parish Social Group
Adults 36+ – families welcome
You are invited to morning tea at The Grind Coffee Shop, Olive St, Albury, this Wednesday 18th January 2012 at 10.30am. Please phone Christine on 0417 265 274 before Monday 16th January.

Parish Council Meeting
The next meeting of St Patrick’s Parish Council will be held this Thursday 19th January at 7.30pm in the presbytery.

St Patrick’s Youth Group
St Patrick’s Youth Group meets on the first Sunday of the month after the 10.30am Mass.

Albury Young Adults 18-35yrs
The discussion group for young adults will be starting up again this Wednesday 18th January 2012 at 7.00pm upstairs in St Patrick’s Hall. For more information, please contact Miriam on 0400 419 981.

Mary’s Junior League
Mary’s Junior League meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 3.30 to 5.00pm. For more information please ring Anna on 6023 3838.

Invitation to Father Kennedy’s Episcopal Ordination in Armidale
Thursday 9th February 10.30am
All parishioners are invited to the ordination of Fr Michael Kennedy. Leeton Parish is organising an overnight bus trip at a cost of $100 per person (Wed-Thur) with free meals and accommodation at St Alberts College in Armidale. The bus will leave St Joseph’s Church, Leeton at approx 8am on Wednesday morning and will be returning after lunch on Thursday arriving in Leeton at approximately midnight. RSVP is essential via the form at the back of the church no later than Sunday 15th January, whether you are travelling on the bus or taking your own transport. Tickets for seating in the cathedral will be allocated only to those who register with the parish. No bookings taken after this date.

Diosecan Youth Ministry Worker

Life and Family Conference
This will be held from 26th-29th January 2012 at Lake Hume Albury. International speakers: Msgr Philip Reilly from New York, Steve Mosher, Bishop Porteous and others. Bookins are now being taken. For more details, visit www.fli.org.au.

Mothers Group
St Patrick’s Parish Mother’s Group meets on the second and fourth at 10.00am in the supper room of the parish hall. All mothers with babies and young children are warmly invited to come along. for more information please contact Carmen Price on 0418 637 707.
