Special Collection
Thank you to everyone who gave so generously last weekend to our Special Collection for Mission Sunday. Our parish collected $1400.00.
First Holy Communion
First Holy Communion for public school children will be held this Sunday 30th October at St Patrick’s Church during the 10.30am Mass. This will be followed by a parish sausage sizzle. All welcome.
All Saints Day – Tuesday 1st November
Mass times at St Patrick’s Church for All Saints Day are: 7.00am, 10.30am and 6pm.
All Souls Day – Wednesday 2nd November
Mass times at St Patrick’s Church for All Souls Day are: 7.00am, 12noon and 6pm. There will be no Holy Hour at 5.30pm on this day.

Youth Expo 2011
Youth Expo 2011 is coming up soon – 25-27th November at St Patrick’s Albury. Youth aged 13-30 are invited to attend. Please see Together Youth for details.

Xavier High School Orientation Day
Students who have accepted an offer of enrolment for Year 7 2012 are invited to Xavier High School on Thursday 10th November from 9.30am to 1pm. All students should wear their school sports uniform and bring a pen or pencil. Lunch will be provided.
Xavier High School Parent Evening
There will be an information session for parents at 7.30pm on Thursday 10th November in the Arts Centre. The session will last approximately one hour and will be followed by supper. Year 7 book packs will be available for purchase on this evening between 7pm and 7.20pm at an approximate cost of $45.

This 8 part series taught by Jeff Cavins (DVD) is a great introduction to studying the Bible. Anyone 18 -35 years is very welcome to attend. Starting Wednesday 5th October – concludes Wednesday 30th November. Program will cover: How to read the Bible, Early World, Egypt & Exodus, Conquest & Judges, Divided Kingdom & Exile, Return from Exile and The Church. You will need

March for the Babies
Saturday 8th October 2011 March for the Babies to the steps of Parliament in Melbourne to demand that the Government overturn the most extreme abortion law in the western world. NSW is the next target. Vehicles will leave from the front of the Three Monkeys Tavern on the Lincoln Causeway in Wodonga at 9.00am if you need a lift. It will be a joyful, pro-life family day trip to stand up for the babies without a voice. See information at the back of the church.
