Parent’s Helpful Instruction on Sex Ed for Children
Dr Gerard O’Shea, lecturer at John Paul II Institute on the Family, Melbourne, will speak to parents on how to teach Sex Ed to their children. He has produced a resource entitled “As I Have Loved You” which will be available at the presentation. Dr O’Shea will be speaking at St Patrick’s Parish Hall on Thursday 17th November from 7.30-8.30pm.

Victorian Abortion Law
Victorian MP Bernie Finn will speak on Monday 5th September at 7.00pm in the Waratah Room, Commercial Club, Albury, about the extreme Victorian Abortion Law which is heading to New South Wales. If you haven’t heard Bernie speak before, you are in for a treat.

Singles Conference: In Pursuit of Passion
A conference for young adults and singles of all ages will be held on the weekend of 24th and 25th September 2011 at St Clement of Rome, Clifton Centre, Bulleen, Victoria. Keynote speaker will be Anna Krohn, BTheol (MCD). Topics include: living passionately being single and fulfilled, processing through disappointments, intimacy, relationships and sexuality. Deacon Henry will be ordained for the Diocese of Wagga Wagga on Saturday 13th August 2011 in his home diocese of Owerri in Nigeria. Please pray for Henry in the days leading up to his ordination. Deacon Henry will return to the Diocese early September.
